Canina Holidays Self Catering Accommodation Pembrokeshire

Canina provides you with a comfortable home from home experience from which to explore the delights of Pembrokeshire. Park your car on your own private driveway and walk through your own private garden to the well appointed cottage. The large entrance hall with cloakroom gives access to three bedrooms, the separate WC and the bathroom, the stairs to the first floor en-suite bedroom, and, through the kitchen to the spacious lounge/diner. French windows then afford access to the patio and lawned garden. There we provide a barbecue complete with charcoal or gas, garden furniture and an inflatable paddling pool for the littlies.

The lounge is supplied with an assortment of books and games to suit all ages, TV with Freeview, VCR, DVD player and radio/stereo CD player. The downstairs double and twin rooms also have TVs.

The large, beamed kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, microwave oven, separate fridge and freezer and washing machine. There are all the usual pots and pans, a toaster, plates and cutlery and ample storage space. There is plenty of worktop for the preparation of your favourite meals or why not let the local hostelries take the strain; we provide a folder of menus from a selection of eateries within easy distance, both eat in and take-away.

The downstairs double and twin bedrooms are plenty big enough to take cots/put-u-up beds and accommodate a small dance party too, with bay windows overlooking the private garden. The bunk room is ideal for children, each bed has its own individual light for reading/comfort and the room is at the back of the cottage, away from adult revelries on the lawn, so affording a quiet place for rest and sleep. The upstairs bedroom has a wonderful view across the fields to the village and has an en-suite shower room with WC and washbasin.

The downstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath, washbasin and WC. We also offer wet clothes drying facilities?? We understand children!

The whole cottage has oil-fired central heating and constant hot water at NO extra cost. For the Christmas holidays we put up seasonal decorations and a tree and supply hot mince pies and a bottle of wine.

For those of us who are less able, Canina has ramps for easy entry up the shallow steps to the front door and French windows and is totally flat on the ground floor. We have a swivel seat for the bath and a toilet enabler. The WC in the spacious bathroom affords transfer from wheelchair to seat. All doorways allow the passage of standard-sized wheelchairs. Our nearest supermarket is a Co-op at Kilgetty, there are numerous small and interesting shops at Narberth and a selection of other supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi) at Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock.

Ludchurch does not have a pub but visitors are welcome at Woodland Vale Holiday park clubhouse only 300yds up the road. Meals are served and there is entertainment on many nights, also an indoor pool. Children are welcome but please, no pets.
