Access Statement

General:

Spacious self-contained country cottage. Self-catering. Oil fired C.H. Prices all inclusive. Open all year.

Outside:

Off road parking for three cars. Private driveway. Lighting. Off loading area is level and firm. Flat, smooth and level access the short distance from driveway to entrance doors. The gate swings in both directions for ease. Ramps afford access over small steps to entrance doors. Each (removable) ramp is non-slip and has a level platform at the top for manoeuvring. Private, south-facing lawned garden which is fully accessible to wheelchairs. Bar-B-Q and picnic table, Children's inflatable paddling pool.

Entrance:

Doors open fully for access. Front door glazed, 2'6" wide opening on to hallway, 4'6" wide. Large cloakroom. French doors, 4'6" wide opening into Lounge/diner.

Inside:

Ground floor: has NO steps and all rooms are accessible through wide doors. Rooms are: Lounge/diner with TV VCR DVD and stereo, games and books. Kitchen with electric cooker, separate fridge and freezer, toaster, microwave and washing machine. Usual pots and pans, crockery and cutlery also suitably lowered breakfast bar.

Bedrooms:

One double in large room with CTV and bay window overlooking garden. One twin CTV. Large room as above. One room with two full size bunk beds (sleeps 4)ideal for children, over-looking rear garden. Bathroom with shower over bath, washbasin and W.C. with grab rails. Bath swivel seat available. Electric fan heater.

Toilet:

separate W.C. A toilet enabler is also available.

First floor:

Twin room with en-suite shower room with wash basin and W.C. We also have 3 Z-beds, 2 cots and a high chair. We provide all duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels and tea towels, but not beach towels. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control and not allowed on to soft furnishings or beds. Thank you.
