Your hosts are Ruth and Paul Bromley. Ruth came originally from Crowland in Lincolnshire and Paul was born and bred in Leicester. How they met is a long and mind-numbing story not worth bending your brain around.

Paul is good for a laugh, just take a look ???you can't help it! A retired garage proprietor, he knows a bit about cars and can bodge most things. He grows tomatoes now! He keeps an old Morris 1000 as a pet and watches Heartbeat on the TV. Sad.

Ruth has spent most of her working life in the National Health Service, starting in the pharmacy department and finishing as an ambulance woman, not scraping them off the runway, just transporting out-patients. She bakes a mean loaf of bread and is a keen gardener, it is she who really grows the tomatoes and cucumbers and peas and carrots and etc. Also sells our free -range eggs. A bubbly old nut case.

Duchess (Dutch for short) is the real boss. An 14 year-old Samoyed/Labrador cross who knows how to get her own way although she doesn't always succeed. She extends a warm waggy-tailed welcome to you and your pets

Sindar and Vanya are our two cats, both 13 years old and as independent as cats may be. Sindar was a rescue cat and can be a bit skittish, she is black and white. Vanya was a farm cat and is tabby and white.
